Sexual and Reproductive health rights
Girls Excel’s projects inform, educate and empower adolescent girls and young women to make informed decisions about their own bodies. We educate them on good menstrual hygiene management, how to sew their own reusable sanitary pads, and calculate their menstrual cycle using the menstrual bracelets that we create.
Girls Excel creates girls-led clubs in rural communities where we train girls as peer educators on sexual and reproductive health education, computer and vocational skills. The girls replicate these solutions by training more girls in their schools and communities.
Vocational and Digital Skills
GE runs a couple of vocational and digital skills development training in Cameroon targeting young women who are internally displaced with technical and soft skills needed to achieve economic freedom and bridge the gender gap.
